“It is not healthy to comment the government integrity in the website or facebook” - Sarawak Chief Minsiter Taib Mahmud.

via email zulan74@yahoo.com.sg

Ladies & gentlemen, before I present the topic of discussion, I would like to introduce my humble self -- My name is Tajco Dale Sjøtveit. My kampong is somewhere between Long Laput and Long Akah Baram. In this email, I’d like to briefly touch on one hot issue currently being discussed in the internet (world media) – Malaysia is one of the top ranking countries in corruption. Most surprisingly, none of our leaders and politician comment on this claim.
Except one politician did comment -- Sarawak Chief Minsiter Taib Mahmud, he says “it is not healthy to comment the government integrity in the website or facebook”. Until today, I do not understand what integrity is he talking about while his planning of building 12 dams in Sarawak remained as hidden agenda. While Bakun dam is almost a white elephant, Murum is coming up.

Being the Chief Minister, Taib Mahmud must be prepared to face criticism over the way in which he portraying himself in leading Sarawak of interest to the public. If he cannot understand this, he should resign. It’s not easy to become a leader when the rakyat caught him with his pants down.Without any contrary solutions on how this nation changes in the law, we will carry on with this miserable, thankless, and pay-less task using emails, facebook, twitter, web, etc. Although our actions too often make sensational news stories and fodder for pundits - we are supported by precedent and legal guidance, under 18 & 20 Points we are sworn to enforce our rights.Instead of being angry with the messengers, we hope the Rakyat complains loudly and often to their elected representatives who caused this total messed, but instead Taib Mahmud divert the blames to NGO and the opposition parties, who are always here to serve the Rakyat. Taib Mahmud is expecting us to sit quietly, say “yes-Pehin” to every words he speaks and every mess he made.

The same holds true of those in the media (Borneo Post, TV1, 2 & 3) who sensationalize and incorrectly report on our demands, instead siding the outlaws and blaming the Rakyat who are trying to correct the mistakes. We Sarawakians deserve better. These evil government policies created by Taib Mahmud could have been preventable during the last state election. Today, we Rakyat are paying very heavy prices for our votes to this son of the devil who made himself in higher authority inrunning our country with greed.

The most greedy, longest serving chief minister, a dictator who steals from sate coffer and then hires enough muscle with his ill-gotten gains, he can demand goods and manipulates all the giant contracts in Sarawak, take anything he wants, and make almost anybody do whatever he says. And since there's no authority higher than Taib Mahmud there’s nothing can make him stop what he's doing, this jerk just literally created his own style government--what political theorists refer to as a despotism (abused of power), a government ruled by a despot (which is essentially just another word for a tyrant).

Taib changed our tradition in choosing our community leaders. He handpicked somebody who is weak in leadership, the most unrespected person, person who are “nodding donkeys” to becomes ketua mesarakat -- Ketau Kampong, Penghulu, Pemancar or Temenggong for his easy manipulation, allow the Rakyat to suffer. This is simply the acts of despotism. Some governments in this world aren't much different from the despotism of chief minister I just described. In North Korea, for example, Kim Jong-il technically inherited his army instead of hiring it--but the principle is the same. What Kim Jong-il wants, Kim Jong-il gets. If he wants to sleep with somebody else wives, he gets it. Nobody have the right stop him. If ee wants to build dams, robbing lands, so be it, nobody have the right to comment. Under the North Korean law, no citizens are permitted to ask question on Kim Jong il’s integrity. That’s it.!! It's the same system Taib Mahmud is doing in Sarawak, but on a larger scale, throughout Sarawak.
I read in some facebooks, from the pro-Baram dam, they are so exited about the Baram dam, as channel for Taib Mahmud to give major developments the people in the Baram, “Bandar baru” and on-son-on.The question is not whether we are given development, but whether we are given the right development. But when I see the past rural developments, such cutting of timbers, building of “kerebau-sawah” roads, building of schools and teachers quarters people who benefits from the developments are BN’s cronies. You can check this with Dennis Ngau, he’ll probably agree to my comment. Let us be honest. So far, NONE of government rural development project brings success story to the rural populace. Maybe the “kerebau-sawah” roadscould be the mega development projects that excited people as Temengong Pahang Ding and some of the ketau mesarakat.
Ask yourself, why are the government projects failed? This is because the contracts processes are dirty, contaminated, stink, smelly, etc. Every projects and developments announced by BNministers, has something wrong with it. If you don’t agree….again I want our “beloved” YB Dennis Ngau and his assistant Lihan Jok to help answering this question. My dear friends…If we don't want Taib Mahmud (or Kim Jong-il or Kim Jong-Un) in charge, we have to all get together and agree to do something to prevent them from taking over.Taib is scared of his shadow; he wants the Rakyat to stop attacking through web, emails or facebook? Very Good, because today I want him and his cronies to stop screwing around, STOP land robbing and STOP the dams, STOP fooling us around.Simple as that..!!

Best of Regards....
